How to Set up a Discussion Component

Within the Connect module, you can now create a Discussion Component. Alternative to the Discussion Tab that is available as an option in Products, the Discussion as a Component offers a bit more control over when the discussion become available, when it can be completed, and more. 

1.  Choose a component type: Discussion

2. Fill in the Title, Description, and Confirmation Text.

3. Select the start and end date for your discussion.

4. Choose completion options.

*The Discussion as a Component feature will function like any other Component in terms of moving it up or down on the components list and/or setting it as a requirement of another component.
