Higher Logic Discussion


For Elevate clients that have an integration with their Higher Logic Community site, Higher Logic discussions can be added to a Higher Logic Discussion tab within a Product in Elevate. The integration with Higher Logic allows users to see and respond to threads in the Higher Logic Community via the Elevate Product Page.

To add a Higher Logic Discussion to a Product in Elevate follow the below steps.

  • From the Administrative Control Panel, navigate to the Product Listing on your site (Products > Product Listing), then find the Product you would like to add the Higher Logic discussion to. 
  • From within the Product editor, click on the "Tabs" option to view and edit the tabs for the Product.
  • If your Elevate site has an integration with Higher Logic and Higher Logic discussions have been turned on for your Elevate site, you will have a tab option labeled "HigherLogic Discussion." Click the "Edit" button in the actions column to continue to set-up the discussion.

  • Enter in the Higher Logic Community Key (from your Higher Logic Community site). Input the max number of posts, subject character length, and content length. Choose when the tab should display for users.

  • Once all information has been input, click the "Save" button to save the discussion.

End User Displays

End-users will see all community threads listed on the Higher Logic discussion tab within the Product

Users can browse thread replies, reply to the thread or individually
