New widget that can be added to pages and sidebar to create a slideshow or carousel of images that optionally link to subpages or external URLs. This easy to use tool will allow admins to create homepage carousels to highlight featured areas of their Elevate site or as a sidebar slideshow to highlight sponsors.
Feature Admin Settings
Create or edit pages and sidebar area, create a new widget and select widget type “Slideshow”. Set the delay between slides, optionally show title or caption and upload your images.
Tip: Slideshow widgets are recommended to be set to the maximum, 12-column, and widget width. All uploaded images should have the same width and height dimensions and will be scaled to the width of the widget, as displayed on the page. We recommend using images that are at least 870px wide by 250px high, unless placing the widget in a sidebar.
Once images have been uploaded, optionally select a URL from the Elevate pages or enter an external URL.
