Customizing the User Transcript


Feature Description

Transcripts are a PDF that users can print as a record of their earned credits. Users can find the Transcript from their “Dashboard”. More customizations available to the admin as they create the transcript template which controls the user PDF printable transcript. Admins can select Portrait or Landscape Mode and then customize header or footer HTML zones and user tags.


Admin Settings

If you would like your end-users to be able to access their user transcript, it must first be enabled. To enable the User Transcript, navigate to Settings > Users > User Dashboard. Select "Yes" from the Enable User Transcript dropdown menu to turn on the User Transcript.

From this editor, you also have the ability to choose whether to display total credits earned by a user on the transcript. If this option is not selected, the transcript will instead only display credits earned for individual Products and not a total of all credits earned. If you would like total credits to display in the transcript, select "Yes" from the Display Total Credits dropdown menu.

Admins can customize the transcript template via Settings > Templates > Transcript Templates

  1. First, choose whether you would like your User Transcript to be in portrait or landscape view from the Transcript Layout menu.
  2. Input any text or images you would like to add to the Transcript Header WYSIWYG editor. Here you have full access to the WYSIWYG editor and can add any amount of content. 
  3. Input any text or images you would like to add to the Transcript Footer WYSIWYG editor. Here you have full access to the WYSIWYG editor and can add any amount of content.
  4. Utilize any number of tag fields that are available in the listing of Available Tags to further customize your User Transcript.  For example, you may want to include the user's first name, last name, and email address in the Transcript Header.

You may also choose to include the printed at date and time within the header or footer of the transcript to validate the date when the transcript was printed.
