An improved integration for Microsoft Office 365 mail server using XOAUTH app for Elevate Mail. Current implementations utilize basic authentication via SMTP. Microsoft Office has started to prefer the OAuth service as a more secure method to connect to the mail server from Elevate. While SMTP will continue to work, it is highly recommended to change to this new option as soon as possible.
Settings > Site Setup > Email server (Fig. 1) A new option to select the radio button for Microsoft Email OAuth. Then select the email provider and click connect email. You will be taken to Microsoft to login and then allow access to the Elevate Email App. Once confirmed, you will be taken back to Elevate with your email account connected.

NOTE
You will want to be sure to be logged in with the account you wish to Elevate to send email from, not your personal Microsoft email. This is often times a generic mailbox for the LMS.
