Where can I access and edit the site wide email templates on my site?

Not all email templates will need to be updated, as many will not be sent from your site. Any email will only be sent when a user takes a specific action, such as registering for a product or package; or when it is triggered by something such as a product expiring. We recommend at a minimum reviewing the “Registration Confirmation” email. 

  1. To edit the side-wide email templates, navigate to Settings --> Templates --> Email Templates. 
  2. Select the “Edit” button for the email you wish to update. This will induce a pop-up window that includes the text for the email. 
  3. A description of the email will be displayed as well as several fields related to the email format.
  4. You may use the default settings by clicking on the “Use Default” button under each heading or you may use your own words in the text boxes and text editors.
  5. You may insert tags into your emails by scrolling to the bottom of the page. Here you will find numerous tags that are divided into categories. Copy and paste the tags into the text fields or text editors to use them.
  6. Emails can be previewed by clicking the “Preview” button.
  7. Once you have made any necessary edits to your email templates, click “Save.”
  8. If you would like to disable only the Registration Confirmation email, click the “Confirmation Email Options” button and unselect the “Send Confirmation Email” option.
