What is the Site Stats Report?
The Site Stats Report is your best snapshot to key data on your Elevate site. This report includes highlights of key data for your site such as the total number of products, top products by registration, user engagement percentage, and more.
To access the Site Stats Report, navigate to Reports > Site Stats Reports > Site Stats
The Site Stats Report page is customizable in terms of the order in which each of the data areas displays for you. By clicking and holding the drag and drop icon in the upper left-hand corner of each of the data areas, you able to rearrange and customize the display for your Site Stats dashboard.
Date Range: By default, the date range for this report will pull in year-to-date information for your Elevate site. This date range can be adjusted by clicking on the calendar icon listed with the beginning and ending date. (Fig. 1)
All-Time Stats:This area of the report shows you the overarching stats for your Elevate site. Many of these stats areimportant, as your Elevate contract may include limits on items such as the number of active products your site can have accessible and the amount of storage your site is using.
Stats here include:
- Total number of user accounts
- Current number of products in “Open for Registration,” “Hidden Registration,” and “Closed for Registration”
- Current number of products that are “Active” (in this context, the term active means a product that a user can interact with in any capacity; products with the status of “Draft,” “User Access Closed,” or “Cold Storage” will not be included in this count)
- Current CDN (Content Delivery Network) Storage Usage
Date-Filtered Stats: This area of the report shows you the overarching stats for your Elevate site based on the specific date parameters selected above.
Stats here include (based on date filters):
- Number of user accounts
- Current number of products in “Open for Registration,” “Hidden Registration,” and “Closed for Registration”
- Current number of products that are “Active” (in this context, the term active means a product that a user can interact with in any capacity; products with the status of “Draft,” “User Access Closed,” or “Cold Storage” will not be included in this count)
- Registrations: the total number of registrations for both products and packages in the date range set
- Revenue: the total revenue earned (taking items such as discounts and refunds into consideration) in the date range
- Total Unique Site Visitors: Total number of visitors (either logged in or guest) to your site with unique IP addresses during the date range selected. If a user’s IP address changes, they will be counted as an additional unique site visitor.
- Total Unique User Page Views: Total number of page views by unique user, counting only their first visit to a page each day; multiple page views from the same user would not be counted here
- CDN Bandwidth Usage: Amount of storage usage for your Elevate site during the date range set above
Top 10 Products by Registrations in Date Range
This area of the Site Stats Report shows you the ten Products with the most registrations on your site during the date range selected at the top of the report. This reporting area will display the name of the Product, as well as the total number of registrations within the date range.
Top 10 Products by Revenue in Date Range
This area of the Site Stats Report shows you the ten Products with the highest revenue on your site during the date range selected at the top of the report. This reporting area will display the name of the Product, as well as the total revenue earned for the Product. Any discount codes that may have been applied by users during the check-out process will be factored into the revenue that displays.
NOTE
If you are utilizing a Registration API integration, allowing you to take registrations for Products within your AMS, the revenue that displays in area of the report may not be accurate. When Registration API is in place, the best source for accurate revenue reporting is in your AMS.
Top 10 Users by Registrations in Date Range
This area of the Site Stats Report shows you the ten users with the most total number of registrations for Products during the date range selected at the top of the report. This area of the report will display the user’s name and email address, as well as the total number of Products they have registered for.
If a user registers for a Package and the Package options are set to “When user registers for Package, register them for all active Products in Package,” then the total number of registrations for these users will include the registration for each individual Product within the Package.
Top 10 Users by Revenue in Date Range
This area of the Site Stats Report shows you the ten users with the highest total revenue paid via registration for Products and Packages during the date range selected at the top of the report. This area of the report will display the user’s name and email address, as well as the total revenue they have paid for Products and Packages on the site.
NOTE
If you are utilizing a Registration API integration, allowing you to take registrations for Products within your AMS, the revenue that displays in area of the report may not be accurate. When Registration API is in place, the best source for accurate revenue reporting is in your AMS.
User Engagement Percentage
This area of the Site Stats Report displays the total percentage of users engaged with your site. The percentage is calculated based on the number of users who at a minimum logged into your site, divided by the total number of users accounts on your site. In this context, engagement from a user means that at a minimum, the user logged in to your site. The percentages here can vary greatly depending on the total number of user accounts on your site. Typically, the more user accounts on your site, the lower your user engagement percentage will be. The average user engagement percentage on all Elevate sites is between 4 and 6 percent.
Total Number of Quiz Submissions
This area of the Site Stats Report includes data on the total number of quizzes that have been submitted on a month-by-month basis during the date range selected above. Included in this report is the total number of quizzes that were passed and total number that were failed during the date range. Hovering over the bar associated with each month will display the numerical value of passed and failed quizzes for the month.
Top Pages Viewed
This area of the Site Stats Report lists the top ten pages viewed on your site. The display includes the URL slug, as well as the total number of views for that page during the set date range. Hovering over each bar will display the full URL for the page, as well as the total number of page views for that URL.
NOTE
If you are looking for more data on page views for your site and/or looking to gain a better understanding of user behavior and movement on your site, we recommend utilizing third party analytics or a marketing tool such as Google Analytics. Google Analytics can be added to your site by navigating to Settings > Site Setup > Remote Accounts and clicking on the Google Analytics tab.
Top Products Viewed
This reporting includes the top ten Products viewed during the date range set above. When hovered over, each bar will display the name of the Product, as well as the total number of views of the product from registered and unregistered viewers.
A few things to note about this area of the report: users may be counted in both the unregistered and registered count if they first view a product without having registered and then view again after registering; Product view totals may not match the page view totals for the same product, as the product view totals may include alternate views of the products such as a micro-site or direct survey or quiz link.
Credits Earned by Type
Shows credits earned by type in a given date range. Quiz Submissions, Passing Quiz Submissions, and Credits Earned have also been added to the date filtered stats section.
