For SCORM component we use a vendor called SCORMCloud to host the scorm files and handle the recording and reporting back to Elevate of the user’s progress and completion.
The best practice for resetting SCORM component is a two-step process. Within the SCORM report the SCORM component has to be reset first (Fig. 1). Only then can the component be reset in the Product Progress Report (Fig. 2).
When Admins use the Product Progress report to Mark a SCORM component Unstarted without first Resetting from the Scorm Report it breaks the relationship Elevate and SCORMCloud have about the Registrant, and SCORMCloud is unable to tell Elevate about the user's progress anymore.
