Elevate App for Zoom Webinars

We are excited to announce the release of the Elevate LMS App for Zoom Webinars to the Zoom Marketplace.
This new App replaces the deprecated JWT app method used by Elevate to authenticate access to client’s Zoom Webinar accounts. More information can be found about this change on the Zoom Developers Portal.
The Elevate LMS app allows you to connect your Zoom Webinar Account, and multiple user webinar licenses, to your Elevate LMS. Once connected, Administrators can create, manage, and launch Zoom webinars within Elevate and registered users can securely attend the webinars within your Elevate site.

Action Items for Elevate Sites Integrated with Zoom Webinars:

If you previously integrated your Zoom Webinar account(s) with your Elevate LMS, action is needed by September 1st, 2023 in order to continue to make use of the Zoom Webinar functionality. Please follow the steps outlined here to configure the App on your account. You will not be able to run webinars via Elevate without configuring the app after September 1st.

What about upcoming Zoom Webinars currently set up in my Elevate site?

If your scheduled Zoom Webinar occurs before September 1st, it will proceed normally regardless of whether you make this update. You can make the update at any time, however, and it will also not impact these upcoming programs.
If you have webinars using Zoom Webinar scheduled to occur after September 1st, two actions are required. First, you must follow the instructions to configure the new Zoom App for your site. Secondly, in the Elevate product, proceed to the Web Content component for your live webinar and update the Zoom Account associated with the webinar to be the new accounts added as a part of this update.
If you need assistance with this second step, you can submit a request to our support desk and our team can run a command to update your webinars programmatically.

Does this impact Zoom Meetings?

At this time, Elevate integration with Zoom is for the webinars only. Adding the ability to create and update Zoom Meetings is on the roadmap for future enhancements. You can continue to insert Zoom Meeting links into Web content components to make meetings accessible to registrants.

We encourage you to make this change as soon as possible and reach out to elevate-support@gocadmium.com with any questions.
