Elevate Release Notes
June 2026
PLEASE NOTE
This page will be updated throughout the month as new releases are deployed, so check back regularly for the latest updates and improvements.
This month's release may include product updates, new features, enhancements, essential bug fixes, and more.
Improvement
Simplified Certification CSV Upload
The certification upload now uses a single Action column to tell Elevate what you want to do for each user. Instead of combining separate on/off fields, you choose one of four values:
- initial_enrollment – Enroll the user in the certification only
- enroll_and_earn – Enroll the user and grant the initial earning
- enroll_for_recertification – Enroll the user for recertification, without granting the recertification earning
- enroll_and_earn_recertification – Enroll the user and grant the recertification earning
Anything other than these four values returns a clear validation message, so it's easy to see and correct a mistake before the import runs. (June 2, 2026)
Retired Product Pages Now Signal Removal To Search Engines
We've updated how retired product pages behave for Cold Storage and User Access Closed products. Visitors who reach a retired product URL continue to see a clear "This content is no longer available" message. These pages now return an HTTP 410 (Gone) response with a no index tag, instead of the previous 403 (Forbidden), which tells search engines the page has been permanently removed so it drops out of search results more quickly. Administrators with edit permission can still preview User Access Closed products as before. (June 24, 2026)
Fix
Messaging Privacy Improvements
The "Who can send me messages?" setting now applies everywhere in Elevate. When a learner chooses to receive messages from admins only, non-admins can no longer message them, even through an existing connection. Older conversations stay visible, but new messages that break the preference are blocked rather than delivered. Admins can always reach any member when they need to, so your team is never locked out of contacting a learner. (June 2, 2026)
Quiz Image Loading Fix
Images embedded in quiz questions now display reliably for registrants. We've improved how Elevate loads and verifies images within quiz questions, so learners consistently see every image as the question was built. The update is live across affected quizzes. (June 2, 2026)
Granting Recertifications by CSV Upload
When you upload a CSV to grant a recertification to someone who has already earned the certification, the import now processes it correctly. Recertification is the expected next step for an already-earned certification, and the upload handles it as such. If a recertification falls outside the certification's "Recertification Period Begins" window, you'll see a clear message explaining why, rather than a generic error, and each recertification now creates a single, accurate enrollment record. (June 2, 2026)
Participation and Grading Page Error Resolved for Live In-Person Events
An issue was resolved where the Participation and Grading page returned a 500 error for live in-person events. The page now loads as expected. (June 10, 2026)
"Live Event is Over" Badge No Longer Appears While Live Webinars Remain
An issue was resolved where, on products with multiple live webinar components, the user dashboard could display the "Live Event is Over" badge even when some of those webinars had not yet taken place. The badge now appears only after all live webinars for the product have ended. (June 24, 2026)
New
Elevate - Automatic pass/fail grading from Zoom poll participation
Elevate can grade learners automatically based on their participation in Zoom polls. You set a minimum number of poll questions a learner must answer during a Zoom webinar or meeting in order to pass. After the event, you import the poll data into Elevate and let the system mark each registrant passed or failed against that threshold — no manual scoring required.
This is useful when you need a simple, defensible measure of live attendance and engagement to award credit or a certificate only to learners who actively took part. Learn more about this feature here. (June 9, 2026).
