This feature allows admins to create and save pages to a draft version. The draft version allows the admin to create and edit a page before publishing. Once page editing is completed, the admin can publish the page and allow users to view it.
Use Case Examples
Example 1: You want to make changes on your Home page which is currently live and viewable to your users. You can save a draft (Fig. 1) and continue to edit the page in private and then when ready, publish it as the home page. Doing so does not change the page URL or require menu changes.
Example 2: You have an expo hall but the exhibit booths are not ready or should not be open to the public.
- Create an expo hall page with some messaging describing when the expo hall opens.
- Create and save a draft of the expo hall page where you place all of your exhibitor booths (Fig. 2).
- When ready, publish the expo hall page draft thus opening the expo hall.
