- Create all of the Components that you want to include in your Product. See “How do I add a Component to my Product” for details.
- Click and hold the icon to the left of theComponent title and move the Component to the desired sequence. The Component at the top will always be the first Component in your sequence.
- Using the "Component Prerequisites” column, click on the drop-down arrow next to “None Selected” to reveal a list of the Components within the Product. Note: Your first Component should always use the default setting of “None Selected.”
- For each subsequent Component, use the drop-down selection and choose the requirement for each Component. For example, if you want your users to view the session recording BEFORE they are able to fill out the survey, make the session recording component a component prerequisite for the survey. This will force the learner to view the session recording before they can fill out the survey. If you want to make sure they view the entire recording before they complete the survey, make sure you add a “time requirement” to your session recording Component. If you want to force your learners to complete a survey before they can receive continuing education credits or a certificate, make the survey a Component Prerequisite for the credits. You optionally have the ability to select the “Auto-Open” checkbox when creating a sequence of components. Selecting this force open a component for a user once they have completed the prerequisite, without them having to click to open the component. Note: If you select more than one component within the “Component Prerequisite” it becomes an either/or scenario, rather than an “and” scenario. This means users will be able to access the next available component once they have completed either component marked as a prerequisite.
- After editing the requirement for each Component, the “save” button to the right of each Component will turn green. Click on each “save” button to save the changes.
