Any Elevate Admin that has been granted "Edit User Permissions" has the ability to grant administrative permissions/privileges to any user, except themselves. To grant Administrative Privileges, use the following steps:
- From the Administrative Control Panel navigate to Users > User Listing. Here you will have the ability to search for any existing User Accounts on your Elevate site.
- Click on the "Filter Users" button to find the specific user you would like to grant privileges to.
- Once you have found the user, click on the permissions gear icon. This will prompt a pop-up window for you allowing you to set permissions for this user.
- To grant full Administrative Privileges, select the checkbox next to "Administrative Privileges."
- You also have the ability to grant privileges for specific areas of your site such as managing users, managing Products, managing pages, and more.
- Once you have selected the appropriate Administrative Privileges, click the "Update" button to save your changes.
NOTE
Please note that when full Administrative Privileges are granted, the "Limited Reports" option will not be selected. This is intention. This option is not selected because the "Manage Reports" option just above this has been selected. If both of these options are accidentally checked, this user's permissions will be defaulted to the lower permission level of "Limited Reports."
